ABC has pulled “Secret Lives of Mormon Wives” star Taylor Frankie Paul’s season of “The Bachelorette” after footage of her attacking her child’s father in 2023 was leaked amid an ongoing domestic assault investigation.

“In light of the newly released video just surfaced today, we have made the decision to not move forward with the new season of ‘The Bachelorette’ at this time, and our focus is on supporting the family,” a spokesperson for ABC told HuffPost.

The video, posted by TMZ, was taken by Paul’s ex-boyfriend, Dakota Mortensen, with whom she shares a child. The video appears to show the reality TV star hitting Mortensen, who can be heard saying, “This is called physical abuse.” Later in the video, she appears to be throwing chairs at him while their now-8-year-old daughter, Indy, is in the room.

“Your daughter just got hit in the head by a metal chair,” Mortensen said in the video.

A spokesman for Paul told People, “It’s sad to see the latest installment of his never-ending, desperate, attention-seeking, destructive campaign to harm Taylor without any regard for the consequences for their child.”
