The Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) on Sunday razed “illegal portions” of a house linked to an accused in the murder of 26-year-old Tarun Bhutolia, who was killed in a clash during Holi celebrations in south-west Delhi’s Uttam Nagar on March 4.
The incident was allegedly triggered by a dispute over a water balloon thrown by a girl that accidentally hit a woman.
The situation quickly escalated as members of both families gathered on the street and exchanged blows, resulting in Tarun’s death.
Nabbed from home
In a related development on Sunday, the Delhi police nabbed the eighth person in the case. Imran alias Bunty, 38, was nabbed from his house in Uttam Nagar.
