“India is a geopolitically stable and trustworthy partner in the global artificial intelligence (AI) ecosystem and its strength to use the right set of digital tools around AI will be a game-changer,” said N.G. Subramanian, chairman, Tata Communications and Tata Elxsi, on Saturday.
Addressing the ‘PACT for IMPACT’ event at SASTRA Deemed University in Thanjavur, Mr. Subramanian stressed on the need to teach and not train AI models with anecdotal references, stressing on the need for dharmic AI.
The programme included the signing of Memoranda of Understanding (MoU) between SASTRA and Zoho Corporation, City Union Bank, Centific, IIT Ropar, Greaves Cotton, PRODAPT & nStore, to facilitate collaborative work in AI, physical AI, agriculture sustainability, software engineering, advanced manufacturing, and mathematical modelling.
