The Army College of Dental Sciences (ACDS), Secunderabad, marked its Silver Jubilee year with its annual convocation ceremony on Saturday (March 7, 2026). Telangana Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka urged the graduating dentists to uphold ethics, compassion and continuous learning throughout their professional lives.
Speaking as the chief guest, Mr. Bhatti Vikramarka said that talent, ethics and compassion are the core principles of the medical profession. “In a rapidly evolving healthcare landscape, only those doctors who continue to study and adapt to developments in science and technology will be recognised as the best in their field,” he added.
Addressing the graduating class of 2026, he advised them to remember three guiding principles in their professional journey. The first is to maintain professional excellence by constantly upgrading their knowledge and skills. The second is to practise with ethics and honesty because patient trust forms the foundation of healthcare. The third is compassion, as medical practice ultimately centres on service to humanity.
The Deputy Chief Minister also expressed happiness over the large number of young women graduating this year, describing it as a positive transformation in society. He also noted that ACDS is the only dental college in Telangana to feature in the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF).
