Stargazers will have an opportunity to spot a partial lunar eclipse on March 3, during a sky observation programme to be held by Anna Science Centre-Planetarium in Tiruchi from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.According to an official release on Saturday, the partial lunar eclipse, a rare celestial phenomenon, will be visible in India on March 3 between 4.30 p.m. and 7.30 p.m. It is part of the event known as the ‘Blood Moon’, where the moon will appear reddish-orange due to the Earth’s shadow.The Blood Moon can be viewed clearly in the nation’s northeastern states, said the release.
