Norway’s Magnus Ramsfjell had nothing to lose, so he hotdogged it on his last curling stone in a Winter Olympics loss to Switzerland.
Ramsfjell spun a full 360 before releasing his stone to the roar of fans at the Milan-Cortina Games. World Curling called the move “crowd-pleasing,” the Olympics website gushed that he “put on a show,” and the announcer in the clip said the Norwegian was “finishing off with some pizzazz.”
The trick shot went viral, but something tells us Ramsfjell and his teammates would have preferred to be on the winning side instead of losing 9-1 in the bronze medal game.
