You can even use it on your front door at home to pet- and childproof it. The door lock requires no tools to install and comes with a hole on either end to fit most door bolt sizes.
All you have to do is open the door and place the right-sized hole over the strike plate, then close it so the metal plate is stuck. Then you use the red lock to secure the whole thing in place, and voila!
