One in four teens have been frightened by the violent attitudes of a person with whom they are, or have been, in a relationship, at least once in their lives, according to a report by Save The Children.
The report, entitled 'Just kidding.
New Evidence on Violence in Adolescent Relationships' and released before Valentine's Day, said 36% have faced violent language from their partner.
It added that one in three teens have been geolocated by their boyfriend or girlfriend and that 28% have had intimate pictures of themselves shared without consent.
The report said that over 50% of female teenagers have been harassed by sexual comments or advances.
