Feb. 10 (UPI) -- Jackie Wiles and Paula Moltzan took bronze in Tuesday's 2026 Winter Olympics women's alpine combined team final, while fellow U.S. skier Mikaela Shiffrin missed the podium in Cortina d'Ampezzo, Italy.

Wiles and Moltzan finished with a total time of 2:21.91, just ahead of Breezy Johnson and Shiffrin, who clocked a 2:21.97 for fourth place. Austrians Ariane Raedler and Katharina Huber won the event at 2:21.66. Germans Kira Weidle-Winkelmann and Emma Aicher earned silver at 2:21.71.

Wiles was fourth in the downhill, while Moltzan was fourth in the slalom.

"I was grateful to have another shot with Paula," Wiles said on the USA Network broadcast. "She is insanely fast so it's incredible. I knew she would come through and it was really cool."
