The first English medium playschool opened at a small village, Lambi-Sahad, in Rajasthan’s Jhunjhunu district is set to benefit children from the rural communities by giving them exposure with a strong academic foundation. Education Minister Madan Dilawar inaugurated the playschool earlier this week.
The playschool has been opened at Shaheed Suresh Singh Government Senior Secondary School in Lambi-Sahad, under Lambi-Ahir village panchayat, with transportation facility and inclusive access. Jhunjhunu-based Aditri Foundation has established the facility with the pledge to strengthen early childhood education in rural areas.
Lambi-Ahir Sarpanch Neeru Yadav, who is also co-founder of Aditri Foundation, said the playschool would impart inclusive and globally aligned education to the rural children. The foundation has also provided a van, as an “education shuttle”, offering safe and reliable transportation for children from nearby villages and surrounding areas.
While the transport facility is expected to ensure high enrolment among the rural families, Ms. Yadav said the playschool would empower the village children with confidence, modern learning exposure, and global opportunities from an early age.
