After Border Czar Tom Homan announced that a drawdown of 700 federal ICE and CBP agents from Minnesota is now underway — at least 2,000 officers are expected to remain in Minneapolis — Minnesota Attorney General Keith Ellison vowed to keep fighting against President Donald Trump's "campaign of political retribution" against the state and its residents.
"Fewer federal immigration agents on our streets harming Minnesotans would be a step in the right direction," Ellison said Wednesday. "But the surge needs to end."
