Minnesota Governor Tim Walz (D) and Lt. Governor Peggy Flanagan (D) condemned Immigration and Customs Enforcement over the fatal ICE shooting in Minneapolis on Wednesday.

“I’ve seen the video. Don’t believe this propaganda machine,” Walz said in a social media post. “The state will ensure there is a full, fair, and expeditious investigation to ensure accountability and justice.”

In a separate statement, Flanagan said that the ICE shooting was an “unspeakable act of violence.”
