There’s never been a better time to celebrate Dry January. The non-alcoholic drink market is currently valued at $1 billion, and it’s only expected to expand from there. That means even more options for you to sip while you’re on a break from alcohol.
If you haven’t tried non-alcoholic drinks in a while (or ever), you’re in for a treat. While these concoctions will never taste exactly like their alcoholic counterparts, today’s options are a far cry from the watery, tasteless NA drinks of the past. Because of this, more people are adding non-alcoholic drinks to their beverage rotation, even if they still drink alcohol.
An important note about non-alcoholic drinks, though — counter to their names, many do contain alcohol, just in very small doses. Nearly every blend we've seen contains less than 0.5% alcohol by volume (ABV). It's a small amount, and you'd have to drink a massive amount of drinks over a short period of time to feel the effects, but it's an important consideration to make if you need to remain completely alcohol free. There are many brands whose drinks are 100% alcohol free, but be sure to review the full details of the drink itself before purchasing.
