Syria’s information minister, Hamza al-Mustafa, says an announcement is due at 6pm Damascus time (15:00 GMT) on a ceasefire agreement after heavy fighting between the SDF and government troops.
The announcement also relates to the full integration of the SDF into the Syrian state, al-Mustafa said.
