While emphasising the responsibility of teachers in ensuring that no class 10 student fails in the forthcoming SSLC examination, Principal Secretary to School Education and Literacy Rashmi Mahesh said from this academic year schools will be evaluated on the basis of 100% result, wherein efforts made by teachers to make students overcome problems and clear examination will receive due weightage.
She was speaking at the inauguration of a workshop for teachers from Dakshina Kannada and Udupi districts on improving SSLC results, at a private school in Haleyangady on Saturday. This workshop was the last in a series for teachers conducted by the School Education and Literacy Department since July.
