The Central Crime Branch (CCB) of the Greater Chennai Police registered a case against two men from Cuddalore and Ramanathapuram for submitting forged documents to obtain registration with the Tamil Nadu Medical Council (TNMC), falsely claiming that they had completed their medical education in the United States.
The case was booked based on a complaint filed by Registrar of Tamil Nadu Medical Council, with the Chennai Police Commissioner’s Office on November 24. Following the complaint, the CCB booked Ajith Samson of Cuddalore and Karuppaiah Ganapathy of Paramakudi in Ramanathapuram district for misrepresentation and misuse of forged educational credentials.
