The Powerball jackpot rose to an estimated $1.15 billion ahead of the Monday, Dec. 15, drawing after no one on Saturday, Dec. 13, took home the prize.

The cash value of Monday's jackpot, which was the sixth-largest Powerball jackpot in the history of the game, was an estimated $524.7 million. But the jackpot, now an estimated $1.25 billion, rose once again after no one won on Monday night.
