Minimum temperatures in isolated pockets of Telangana are likely to remain below normal and drop by 3°C or 4°C over the next two days, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said in its bulletin issued on Monday (December 15, 2025).
The weather agency, however, has not issued a cold wave alert for any district in the State and has indicated that dry weather conditions are expected to prevail.
Hyderabad and its surrounding areas for the next 24 hours will see mainly clear sky. Mist or hazy conditions are very likely to prevail during morning or night hours. The maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to be around 30°C and 14°C respectively, the bulletin said.
Meanwhile, according to data from Telangana Development Planning Society, between December 14 and 15, seven districts in the State recorded minimum temperatures of 10°C or below with Sirpur in Kumaram Bheem Asifabad district recording the lowest minimum temperature of 7.6°C.
This was followed by 8.2°C in Kohir (Sangareddy), 8.9°C in Bheempoor (Adilabad), 9.4°C in Moinabad (Rangareddy), 9.6°C in Gandhari (Kamareddy), 9.6°C in Mominpet (Vikarabad) and 10°C in Pembi (Nirmal).
