The temperatures in three Telangana districts dropped to below 10°C, with the lowest of 8.2°C was recorded in Tiryani of Kumaram Bheem Asifabad. This was followed by 9.1°C in Rudrangi of Rajanna Sircilla and 9.5°C in Neradigonda in Adilabad.
The minimum temperature in any district across the State did not exceed 15.4°C, according to data from Telangana Development Planning Society’s data recorded from Wednesday morning to Thursday morning (8.30 a.m.).
Temperatures likely to be below normal
People in the State may continue to experience the chill till Saturday at least as India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Wednesday has forecast minimum temperatures likely to be below normal by 2°C to 3°C at isolated pockets in the State over the next couple of days.
The minimum temperature in Hyderabad was 13.6°C (in Maredpally), 11.5°C in Ibrahimpatnam of Rangareddy and 13.0°C in Ghatkesar of Medchal Malkajgiri.
