Drew Barrymore wants you to get outside. “I love nature,” she says. “It is my teacher, my humbler and my healer.” As a longtime Garnier fan and ambassador, Garnier’s partnership with the National Park Foundation is making that even more accessible to everyone by supporting 200,000+ service hours dedicated to conservation efforts across the U.S as part of their sustainability commitment—and Barrymore is helping to spread the word.
“I am a Garnier girl now and I actually was promoting them before I even worked with them,” Barrymore says. “I like sharing things that I'm into, and that's how we got together. The more I worked with them, the more they were educating me and helping me be a better, cleaner person, whether it's me using the reusable makeup pads (Garnier SkinActive Micellar Cleansing Eco Pads) every single day and not [single use] cotton, or their shampoo bar—anything that avoids plastic. They're transparent about how they recycle. I feel aligned with the brand. I've worked with them for years now, and so I was glad they put me on this assignment because it's very true to who I am.”
As part of Garnier’s collaboration with the National Park Foundation, they will focus on restoring and building trails, preserving historic structures, removing invasive plant species, enhancing park infrastructure and visitor accessibility, planting trees and promoting native plants, supporting disaster response and preparedness, and revitalizing habitats, streams and coasts. As a Garnier ambassador, Barrymore will share exclusive educational social content about this initiative.
