A series of programmes will be conducted as part of Vrukshotan Run in Vijayapura on December 5 and 6. The run will be organised on December 7.
Runners will be presented with material like T-shirts and Bibs on December 5 and 6 at the District Stadium.
A seminar on history will be held on historian Krishna Kolhar Kulkarni and Anand Kulkarni will speak on the heritage of Vijayapura.
Archaeological Survey of India officer Ramesh Moolimani and heritage walk organiser Aminuddin Hullur will be present. Students who have won prizes in painting competition will be awarded.
Resource persons Narendra, Shankar Gowda Patil and R.S. Patil Kuchabal will speak at a workshop on modern day stress and health. Winners of competitions for physically challenged persons will be given certificates.
