Rajya Sabha member K R Suresh Reddy and MLC Sravan Dasoju said the fabricated Formula-E case engineered by Chief Minister Revanth Reddy cannot dent Mr K.T. Rama Rao’s image and called it a “vindictive, politically-motivated hit-job aimed at assassinating the character of KTR.”
Mr Suresh Reddy said Mr KTR has emerged as a youth icon in the country and Hyderabad brand image was improved under his leadership. He said Chandrababu Naidu gave a huge philip to the city’s image at the global level and YS Rajashekhar Reddy took it to the next level. KTR gave a new image after Telangana’s formation and he cannot be faulted for improving city’s image with several events.
Mr Dasoju Sravan described the entire narrative as a cooked-up conspiracy, lacking legal merit, factual basis, or evidentiary support.
“This case is not law. This is not justice. This is the CM’s personal revenge script,” he alleged.
Formula-E was meant to bring investments, jobs, and EV innovation and not political hatred, he said.
