Congress MLA from Devarakadra G. Madhusudhan Reddy has warned BRS working president K.T. Rama Rao against making derogatory remarks against Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy, stating that Congress workers would ‘strip him off’ and parade him through the streets if he continued to use such language. He also accused senior BRS leader T. Harish Rao of attempting to tarnish the image of the ruling party by portraying minor food poisoning incidents in residential schools as major issues.

Addressing a press conference at Gandhi Bhavan on Monday, Mr. Reddy alleged that KTR had been using low language against Congress leaders, including the Chief Minister, to encourage his party cadre, which, he claimed, was in deep despair.

“He is trying to provoke his party workers ahead of the local body elections by resorting to cheap language. But it is not the BRS, it is the Congress that will win the local body polls,” he added.

He also criticised Mr. Harish Rao for visiting a hostel in Nagarkurnool, where a food poisoning incident was reported, and alleged that the BRS leader was trying to exaggerate the episode for political mileage.
