Gramalaya, a city-based non-governmental organisation promoting public hygiene, launched “Birds of Roads”, a two-wheeler rally from Tiruchi to Delhi, to create awareness about menstrual health management (MHM) and women’s empowerment, on Saturday.

The rally, which will pass through 10 States on its way to Delhi, was flagged off by Gramalaya founder S. Damodaran and MHM director Preethi Damodaran.

The riders are expected to reach the venue of the 5th MHM India Summit in Delhi on November 21, according to an official press release.
