YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) leader and former minister for Housing Jogi Ramesh and his brother Jogi Ramu, who have been arrested in a case related to spurious liquor manufacture and sales in Andhra Pradesh, were shifted to Nellore Central Prison on Monday (ovember 03) night around 8 p.m. Learning of it, hundreds of YSRCP leaders and activists reached the jail premises at Chemudugunta.

While theJogi brotherswere being taken to the Central Jail, YSRCP combined Nellore district president Kakani Govardhan Reddy and Nellore city in-charge Parvathareddy Chandrasekhar Reddy met them for few seconds and asked them to be brave. Other senior leaders of YSRCP also met the brothers who were arrested in alleged spurious liquor case.

Later addressing the media, Govardhan Reddy said: “Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu’s government has unfairly implicated Jogi Ramesh in the fake liquor case as he had protested in front of CM’s house, condemning the inappropriate comments made by Telugu Desam Party (TDP) leaders against ex-CM and YSRCP supremo Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy.”

“Mr. Naidu and his ‘yellow’ media had spread misinformation to gain sympathy by saying that Chandrababu’s house was attacked. He is taking pleasure in filing cases against those who question him. The person whom he had given B-Form in Thamballapalle Assembly constituency is the main accused in the spurious liquor case,” he said.
