Prosecutors in Parma on Friday opened a pprobe after a video went viral of youths chanting Fascist slogans in the local headquarters of Premier Giorgia Meloni's right-wing Brothers of Italy (FdI) party.
So far no charges have been posited nor persons placed under investigation, Chief Prosecutor Alfonso D'Avino told ANSA.
"It's a Model 45, and no crime has yet been alleged," D'Avino told ANSA.
"We're still in the exploratory phase based on reports learned from the press." The Parma Police Headquarters' DIGOS (Special Operations Unit) is investigating the matter.
"Now we need to verify whether the incident is true and determine whether it could be turned into a charge." At this stage, no one is under investigation, D'Avino stressed.
