No downsizing is planned in Italy, Stellantis CEO Antonio Filosa said Monday.
"Our plan is our commitment, and there are no downsizing planned," Filosa this on the Rai programme "5 minuti" (5 minutes), responding to journalist Bruno Vespa's question about whether the group will adopt redundancy payments.
"On the contrary, it is very pragmatic, and our plan assigns each plant in Italy a clear production mission, for all factories without exception.
"We are investing €2 billion in one year in Italy alone and are purchasing €6 billion in components and services from all-Italian suppliers," he reiterated.
"We are clearly doing our part, but we need the second part.
