The Hungarian government on Monday criticized a report aired on Rai investigative programme Report on sovereignism Sunday night, branding it a "grave error" and an example of alleged bias.

Balazs Orban, political advisor to Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban, lashed out at the Raitre programme on X.

"The programme Report presented international conservative and sovereignist networks in a report whose very title reveals the authors' bias: The sovereignist offensive against Europe: the Meloni-Trump axis," the advisor wrote, recalling how the report allegedly prejudicially attacked two conservative think tanks, the Hungarian MCC Budapest and the Polish Ordo Iuris, authors of the report "The Great Reset," which redesigned the EU's institutional balance along sovereignist lines.

Report presenter Sigrido Ranucci last week suffered a bomb attack which destroyed his and his daughter's cars.
