The South Central Railway on Saturday (September 25, 2025) announced the renaming of the Aurangabad Railway Station in Maharashtra as the Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar Railway Station, after the son of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj.
The move comes three years after Aurangabad city was renamed Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar. The code of the new station, which falls under the Nanded Division of the South Central Railway, is ‘CPSN’.
