Hotels are becoming the main attraction, with 68 percent of travelers choosing destinations based purely on accommodation. From boutique desert resorts to themed city hotels, unique stays are now inspiring where people go.
Beauty-focused trips are rising, with 51 percent of Saudis buying skincare products abroad and 41 percent planning to visit beauty stores or book treatments overseas in 2026. Travelers are mixing self-care with exploration.
Supermarkets are a key part of the experience, with 83 percent visiting local stores and 43 percent seeking snacks they cannot find at home.
Mountain escapes are gaining popularity, with 89 percent considering summer or autumn trips for hiking, clean air and cooler weather.
