A 45-year-old man ended his life and his sons were founded murdered here in their home in Hosur on Saturday (October 18, 2025).
The deceased were identified as Siva Boopathy, from Alwar Katrkulam village of Thoothukudi, who was settled in Hosur, and his two sons aged 14 and 11.
Siva Boopathy was involved in online stock trading and reportedly suffered heavy losses. According to the police, his wife Parvathy was at her home town in Thoothukudi and Siva Boopathy was alone with his sons. On Saturday morning, Siva Boopathy’s brother had alerted the police since the door remained unanswered for long. The door was broken by the police, where Siva Boopathy was found dead and his sons had died by strangulation. The HUDCO police registered a case.
