Sen. Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) tumbled to the floor while walking through a Senate office building Thursday in the latest such incident for the 83-year-old former majority leader.

McConnell had been walking through the Russell building’s basement toward a tunnel to the Capitol for votes with the help of an aide, whose arm he clutched as he walked with a notably stiff gait. Once McConnell let go of the aide, he fell.

Activists with the Sunrise Movement, an environmental group, had been following him and filming as they asked questions.

Two men were required to help the senator to his feet.

“He’s all good,” a spokesperson told HuffPost by email, noting that McConnell cast a vote and will do so again later Thursday, “to see if dems decide to fund our nation’s defense priorities or not.”
