Sen. Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) was discharged from the hospital on Tuesday, about a week after his admission for "flu-like symptoms," his spokesperson said Wednesday.
The former GOP Senate leader "is grateful for the outstanding care he received. He is feeling better and will be working from home this week on the advice of his doctors," the spokesperson added.
