After Chappell Roan condemned Immigration and Customs Enforcement at a recent show in Los Angeles, government officials are pushing back.

The "Pink Pony Club" singer declared "(expletive) ICE" onstage during an Oct. 10 concert in Pasadena, California, while discussing her admiration for the city of LA. Footage of the moment was shared widely on TikTok.

Now, the Department of Homeland Security has some words for the 27-year-old. Tricia McLaughlin, DHS Assistant Secretary for Public Affairs, told TMZ on Oct. 11, "Pink Pony Club is good. Pedophiles are bad. That's who we’re getting off of our streets. Get a grip."

USA TODAY reached out to DHS and Roan's representatives for comment.

The Grammy-winning artist completed two nights at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena on Oct. 10 and 11 as part of her Visions of Damsels & Other Dangerous Things pop-up shows, which kicked off in Queens, New York, last month.
