The three Carabinieri who were killed in a gas-canister trap explosion during an eviction near Verona Tuesday will get a state funeral and national mourning, the cabinet decided Tuesday.
Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni asked the cabinet to observe a minute of silence in memory and honour of the three officers - Marco Piffari, Davide Bernardello and Valerio Daprà - who died in the explosion in a farmhouse at Castel D'Azzano.
Furthermore, a state funeral has been declared for the three victims, and national mourning will be declared today and on the day of the funeral.
