Manchester synagogue killer Jihad Al-Shamie boasted about finally passing his driving test and getting a car just six months before using it in his deadly attack, it can be revealed.
The 35-year-old terrorist - who reportedly rang 999 and said 'I have killed two Jews in the name of Islamic State' during last week's atrocity - told one of his three wives about getting his licence on March 30 this year.
'Passed my driving (test) and have a car now,' he wrote, adding 'Alhamdulillah' which means 'praise be to God'.
Last Thursday morning the university drop-out drove his battered Kia hatchback into worshippers outside Heaton Park Hebrew Congregation Synagogue in Manchester while armed with a knife, killing Melvin Cravitz, 66.
Armed police were scrambled to the scene and shot Al-Shamie dead in front of the synagogue - tragically also killing Adrian Daulby, 53, who along with hero Rabbi David Walker was bravely barricading the doors from inside.
