“Love Is Blind” is back once again. This time, the Netflix reality dating experiment heads to Denver to meet 32 singles who are looking for true love. Now in its ninth season, “Love Is Blind” aired the first six episodes Wednesday, with five episodes devoted to the pods and one episode that takes the couples to their post-engagement trip to Mexico. Six couples get engaged, and there are plenty of love triangles to detangle throughout — and, yes, a few singles actually get ghosted in the first few episodes.HuffPost staff chatted about the latest installment of “Love Is Blind,” including one cringeworthy moment that we never want to think about again.Whether you’ve watched all the episodes and want some takes on the big moments so far, or if you’re dying to skip through the (sometimes) boring pod episodes, we’ve got you covered. See below for updates.Kacie Ditches Patrick In The Most Awkward Conversation EverNow who didn’t see this coming … evidently, Patrick. Again, this poor man couldn’t see a red flag if it smacked him dead in the face. His connection with Kacie compared to Anna, even though the latter was short-lived, honestly doesn’t even compare. I didn’t get any kind of genuine, romantic vibes from these two. I didn’t feel an ounce of a spark when he proposed, and nothing about their face-to-face meeting suggested that they were ever going to make it to the altar. So, when Kacie broke the news that she decided to break off her engagement with Patrick (which she didn’t even make clear to him!), I wasn’t the least bit shocked. The tears in her confessional felt like a performance. You can’t tell me she was actually heartbroken over that decision. And Patrick walked away thinking she was just overwhelmed by the show, and he’d see her back in Denver. Tuh. I feel like Kacie used him. It should’ve been Patrick and Anna as endgame. It would’ve at least been nice to see what would’ve happened to them out of the pods. — NjeraOh, this was so uncomfortable to watch. Patrick kept saying that we’ll work it out and it’s OK. And all I could see in Kacie’s face is that she never wanted to have to see him again. The interaction just made me think about her conversation with him about her terrible ex. Was Kacie just on the show to keep growing her social media following? She seems OBSESSED with the idea of being popular and being an influencer. Unfortunately, she low-key (partially) proved her ex right: that she wasn’t going to find anyone on the show and she’d be coming back to him. I can ONLY hope she did not go back to her ex-boyfriend who seemed like a huge loser. — ErinSee All UpdatesClose
