Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy called on All India Congress Committee (AICC) president Mallikarjun Kharge in Bengaluru on Monday as the Congress chief recently underwent a medical procedure to have a pacemaker implanted.
During the meeting, the Chief Minister also discussed the upcoming Jubilee Hills Assembly byelection and sought the party high command’s guidance on campaign strategy. He also briefed Mr. Kharge on the legal proceedings related to 42% reservation for Backward Classes in local body elections.
