Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy took stock of the situation of flooding of areas abutting the Musi River, which is in spate following incessant rains and the lifting of gates at the overflowing Osman Sagar and Himayatsagar reservoirs on Friday (September 26, 2025)At midnight, the Chief Minister reviewed the rising flood level and the subsequent submergence of colonies along the Musi bank and instructed officials to evacuate residents from low-lying areas to safer places and provide rehabilitation facilities at relief camps. He also directed civic and disaster management teams to remain on high alert and ensure round-the-clock monitoring.
