Dasara holidays for all Telangana Intermediate colleges from September 27, institutes to reopen on October 6

Telangana’s Board of Intermediate Education (BIE) on Friday (September 26, 2025) announced a nine-day holiday for Dasara festivities. All colleges shall reopen on October 6 (Monday), it said in a release on Friday.The first term holidays, starting September 27 and till October 5, is applicable to all government, private, aided and unaided, State residential and model school junior colleges and all other colleges offering two-year intermediate courses in general and vocational streams.The BIE warned that colleges conducting classes during the said holiday period will be booked for violation of instructions, and all managements and its principals are to adhere to the schedule strictly.
