The Board of Intermediate Education (BIE), Andhra Pradesh, has postponed the reopening of all junior colleges in the State for the academic year 2026-27 from June 1 to June 6, 2026, in view of the ongoing Intermediate Public Advanced Supplementary Examinations (IPASE)-2026.In an order issued on Friday (May 29, 2026), BIE Secretary P. Ranjit Basha said the supplementary examinations were scheduled until June 5 and that several college premises were being used as examination centres, and staff members were engaged in examination-related duties.The reopening date for all government, aided, private unaided and cooperative junior colleges and composite degree colleges offering Intermediate courses had been revised to June 6, 2026, instead of June 1. The Board also said the summer vacation would stand extended until June 5, 2026.Mr. Basha asked principals and managements of all institutions concerned to take note of the revised schedule and make the necessary arrangements.
