The Intermediate Public Advanced Supplementary Examinations (IPASE)-2026 began across Andhra Pradesh on Thursday (May 21, 2026).BIEAP Secretary P. Ranjit Basha inspected an exam centre at Sastra Junior College in Vijayawada and monitored the arrangements. As temperatures are high across the State, the Chief Superintendents were directed to make drinking water, ORS packets and medicines available at the exam centres.Among the first-year students, who wrote their exam in the morning session, out of the total 80,728 students who registered, 75,400 of them appeared, while 5,327 remained absent, recording 93.40% attendance.A case was booked against a student from Prakasam district under the vocational stream for resorting to malpractice.The second-year students who wrote the exam in the afternoon session registered an attendance of 89.75 %. ṭ Published - May 22, 2026 12:24 pm IST
