Sri Ramachandra Institute of Higher Education and Research on Saturday celebrated its 40th Founder’s Day and University Day on the occasion of the 90th birth anniversary of Founder-Chancellor N.P.V. Ramasamy Udayar. A total of 33 students received gold medals, and 67 students received cash prizes on the occasion. Lifetime achievement awards were presented to Uma Sekar, Vice-Chancellor, and G. Usha Rani, professor of Obstetrics and Gynaecology. Chancellor V.R. Venkataachalam, Pro-Chancellor R.V. Sengutuvan, trustee of Sri Ramachandra Educational and Health Trust Samyuktha Venkataachalam, and Chairman and Director of Cardiac Care Centre S. Thanikachalam participated, according to a press release.
