Police say they were alerted at 1.32pm about incident involving workers trapped in lift at site on Broadcast Drive in Kowloon City
Two Hong Kong construction workers suffered injuries, including a fractured leg, after a temporary lift they were using to transport goods plunged from a height of 10 metres (33 feet) on Saturday.
Police said that they received a report at 1.32pm about a pair of workers who were suspected to be trapped in a temporary lift at a construction site on Broadcast Drive in Kowloon City.
“Personnel arrived on the site after receiving the report, and firefighters rescued the injured individuals who were sent to Queen Elizabeth Hospital for treatment in a conscious state,” the force said.
