The FBI asked Thursday for the public’s help in identifying a “person of interest” in connection with Wednesday’s fatal shooting of conservative commentator Charlie Kirk.
Kirk was fatally shot in the neck while speaking to a large crowd of students outside Utah Valley University.
The agency on Thursday posted a photo on X of a male wearing a hat, sunglasses, jeans and a black shirt with a picture of the American flag and a bald eagle on it.
The FBI also said it’s offering a $100,000 reward for anyone with information about a possible suspect or person of interest.
FBI Director Kash Patel previously said Wednesday evening that the “subject for the horrific shooting today that took the life of Charlie Kirk is now in custody.”
