The manhunt for the assassin who fatally shot conservative activist Charlie Kirk in Utah has entered its third day as officials plead with the public to come forward with information.
Investigators have not identified the suspected shooter, but have released several images as well as a video showing the alleged gunman leap from a rooftop after the Sept. 10 attack. The FBI recovered what they believe to be the murder weapon, a high-powered bolt-action rifle, and several imprints on the roof where the gunman fired the one fatal shot.
"We continue to implore the public to support this investigation and come forward with any information," said Utah Gov. Spencer J. Cox at a news conference on Thursday, Sept. 11. "We need as much help as we can get."
