Kaylani Kalanzi died from being violently shaken when she was caught in the middle of her parents' mutually abusive relationship’, the Old Bailey has heard.
Her parents called 999 and she was taken to hospital on July 8 last year. She was transferred to Great Ormond Street where she died on July 23, 2024.
Her father, Ugandan national Herbert Kalanzi, 35, and her mother, Nazil Merthoca, 24, are accused of murdering their daughter.
