Erode District Collector S. Kandasamy said that as announced in the Agriculture Budget 2025-26, 20 Chief Minister’s Farmers’ Welfare Service Centres will be established across the district.
A release from Collector said the centres aim to use the knowledge and technical expertise of agriculture, horticulture, and agricultural engineering graduates and diploma holders to assist farmers. They will provide farmers with quality seeds, fertilizers, pest and disease management advice, and guidance on adopting modern technologies and value addition for farm produce.
