Two persons riding a motorcycle were killed after a private bus collided head on with the vehicle on the Tiruchi-Namakkal Main Road in Thottiyam police station limits in the district in the early hours on Monday. The police identified the victims as P. Mohanraj, 28, and S. Dinesh, 22, of Sanarapatti village in Salem district.
Police sources said the two were proceeding towards Tiruchi from Salem district on a motorcycle. The motorcycle was driven by Dinesh.
