The IDF announced a new humanitarian area in Khan Yunis as the operation in Gaza City expands.
According to the statement, within the area, there are "essential humanitarian infrastructure such as field hospitals, water pipelines, and desalination facilities," and there will be a "continued supply of food, tents, medicines, and medical equipment to the area."
The army added that "the humanitarian aid effort for the area, along with the adaptation of its infrastructure, will continue on an ongoing basis in cooperation with the UN and international organizations."
